When exactly will the FAA do their jobs?
When 100 planes a day are grounded, either by the airlines, by pilots’ refusal to fly, or by gravity?
When 1000 flights a day are canceled, week after week?
When travelers finally say enough is enough and stay home, breaking the airlines’ backs?
Or when someone stands up in DC and says ‘Enough’, and runs everyone out of that building, lines them up, points a M-16 at them and says “do your job or die” ?
None of those.
Planes will crash before any of those things happen.
Until a celebrity or major national politician’s family is killed, nothing will happen.
Your tax dollars at work. And for once, it isn’t all the Bush administration’s fault. This weak-kneed, inane FAA decision making has been going on for decades.
Remember the FAA computer system rebuild? Still a mess. Billions wasted.
